How Paint Can Transform Your Brick And Mortar Store

Posted on

Having a brick and mortar store can be a challenge these days because so much business is done online. One thing to remember, though, is that even though a lot of people enjoy shopping online, there are still some people that enjoy the in-store experience. One way to get people to come into your store is to design it in a way that inspires people to want to spend more time in your store; the longer they are in your store, the more likely they are to spend some money.

Because remodeling your store can cost a lot of money, paint may be your best friend. The great thing about paint is that it's affordable and it can change just about any space in your store.

Paint the Cash Wrap

Having a fun colored cash wrap is a great way to add some color and character to your store. If you don't currently have a large cash wrap, consider hiring a carpenter to build one out for you so that it's substantial enough to make a statement. Then, hire a commercial interior painting service to paint it a fun color that's trending right now like blush pink, coral, navy blue, black, or forest green.

Paint the Walls

Having a bright space can be wake people up when they walk into your store and make them feel rejuvenated. Consider having all of your interior walls painting a bright white. White goes with everything, looks clean, and will add a bit of a modern flare to your space overall. Just remember that because white paint shoes every scratch, fingerprint, and smudge, so you will want to wipe it down every month or so with a damp rag.

Paint the Dressing Rooms

If you run a clothing store, have fun with color inside of your dressing rooms. Your brand colors and the overall vibe of your store will help dictate what paint color or shade you go with. Just make sure that you choose a paint color that is flattering in dressing rooms so that when they try on clothes, the wall color doesn't wash them out.

Painting your commercial space on your own is definitely something you can try, but hiring a professional service may be worth it. Not only will a professional service do the job right, but they will also tape everything off so that you get clear paint lines.
